  • Pizzafari $ -- you guess what the menu looks like
  • Flame Tree Barbecue $$ -- pretty yummy BBQ, sandwiches, and the like from this counter location

Africa

  • Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery $ -- Da Guy can't count how many times he's been at the gates when the place opens, heads back for a Safari, then gets one of those hot out of the oven cinnamon rolls and an OJ before heading off for his next adventure
  • Tusker House Restaurant $$ -- Super lunch spot and those chickens on a spit are great

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Echo Lake Area

  • 50's Prime Time Cafe $$ -- "Mom" will chew you out if you don't mind your manners. Great comfort food. Try that meat loaf!

Indiana Jones Exit & Star Tours Area

  • Backlot Express $ -- when you need that burger and shake from a counter location

Commissary Lane

  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant $$ -- Super fun. Sandwiches and shakes of all sorts while you sit in your convertible watching old B movie horror clips.

Muppets 3-D Area

  • Toy Story Pizza Planet Arcade $ -- it has just what it says. You'll see.
  • Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano $$ -- great Italian

Sunset Boulevard

  • The Hollywood Brown Derby $$$ -- the best food in the Park with a look just like old Hollywood, and yes they have an original Cobb Salad.
  • Rosie's All-American Cafe $ -- another burger place if you're waiting for that time on your Fast Pass before the Tower of Terror. (I wouldn't recommend eating before the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.)

Epcot

Future World

Innovations East

  • Electric Umbrella $ -- one of the two burger places, if you really must have one here

The Land

  • Sunshine Season Food Fair $$ -- a really outstanding food court downstairs, and not your ordinary fare. Give it a try after you go Soarin'.

The Living Seas

  • Coral Reef $$$ -- good table service restaurant where every table has a terrific view of the living sea, while you dine on ocean specialties. If you're really lucky, you may even see a Scuba Mickey!

World Showcase

Mexico

  • Cantina de San Angel $ -- outdoor counter service tacos, margaritas, and more. Get there very early and have a few libations before Illuminations each evening. Not the best viewing spot, but with a couple of margaritas, who cares?
  • San Angel Inn $$ -- outstanding table service inside, from the owners of a famous restaurant in Mexico City

Germany

  • Biergarten $$ -- it's Oktoberfest all the time here. Clink those steins and have some German buffet. A fun place with a group.

USA

  • Liberty Inn $ -- if you must have your burger or chicken fix while you're on this end of the Park, here you go!

France

  • Boulangerie Patisserie $ -- you don't have to go to Paris to enjoy one

United Kingdom

  • Rose & Crown Pub and Dining $$ -- Table service and a great English Pub. You absolutely must have their #1 seller, the Fish and Chips -- there is no better, even in London these days.

Canada

  • Le Cellier Steakhouse $$ -- Terrific beef

International Food and Wine Festival

International Food & Wine Festival Don't miss out on this once-a-year special event that throws an already outstanding set of dining experiences over the top. Check it out!

Magic Kingdom

Main Street, USA

  • Tony's Town Square Restaurant $$ -- sit down table service with pretty decent Italian food to boot. Get a great table on the patio watching the going's on
  • Main Street Confectionery $ -- want a real "Wonka Bar", or howz about some divinity or a carmel apple? This is the place.
  • Main Street Bakery $ -- perfect for a light breakfast or to indulge in a big whopping piece of cake in the afternoon

"The Hub", just left of Sleeping Beauty's Castle

  • Ice Cream Cart $ -- Da Guy's favorite and traditional place to get a Minnie Bar (it's strawberry if you were wondering)

Adventureland

  • Aloha Isle $ -- it's all about the pineapple whip
  • Sunshine Tree Tavern $ -- here, it's all about the citrus and vanilla swirl
  • El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante $ -- only open when it's really busy in certain seasons, but if you're in a taco mood, this is da place to go across from Pirates of the Caribbean

Frontierland

  • Pecos Bill Cafe $ -- one the two best burger places in the Park
  • "Turkey Leg Cart" $ -- right across from Tom Sawyer's Island is where you can get your fix

Liberty Square

  • Farmers Market $ -- get some fresh fruit for a change of pace
  • Sleepy Hollow $ -- yummie cobblers and the like
  • Columbia Harbour House $$ -- great sandwiches, and chicken baskets at this counter service location with some inside seats to get out of the heat

Fantasyland

  • Mrs. Potts' Cupboard $ -- soft serve when you just gotta have some, and the only place with a strawberry shortcake sundae. Yummm.

Tomorrowland

  • Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe $ -- Da Guy's favorite burger place in the Park, but great chicken and salads as well. Counter service, but take it over and watch Ray ... he's playing all the time!
  • Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies $ -- soft serve, smoothies and sundaes
  • The Plaza Pavilion $ -- not always open, but when it is, there's always something different here -- stir fry or something just as interesting. Counter service and a terrific covered seating area with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle that can't be beat.

Hotels & Resorts

Disney's Animal Kingdom

  • Jiko Jiko -- The Cooking Place $$$ -- It's Da Guy's #1 at Walt Disney World. A "must go at least twice" place while he's there for his annual trek. The best service. The best food. The best wine list -- and all from South Africa.
  • Boma -- Flavors of Africa $$ -- Stellar buffet-style restaurant where you can try out all those Mediterranean dishes

Disney's Boardwalk

  • Flying Fish Cafe $$$ -- service is sometimes a bit rugged compared to, say Jiko, but the food is always great. A terrific Chef's Counter if you'd like to give it a go as well!
  • Big River Grille & Brewing Works $$ -- good lighter fare and the only on-property microbrew for those beer lovers

Disney's Contemporary Resort

  • California Grill $$$ -- after opening, this was Da Guy's #1 for years, but unfortunately it's a bit "over managed" by "THE management" vs. the Chef, the last couple of times Da Guy was there. Food was stellar, and you can't beat the location on top of the Contemporary. Get Priority Seating so you arrive 20 minutes or so before the Magic Kingdom Fireworks for an experience you'll never forget.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

  • Grand Floridian Cafe $$ -- great breakfast, lunch, or cafe-style dinner
  • Victoria & Albert's $$$$ -- big bucks and very formal with every waiter and waitress named Victoria or Albert. Some the best food you've ever had, and be sure to go with the wine paring option. Suit and tie required in this 5-star restaurant. Who says it's all about hot dogs and hamburgers? Ha!

Disney's Polynesian Resort

  • Kona Cafe $$ -- still one of Da Guy's two favorite breakfast places on property after all these years. Go for the mac-nut pancakes or Tonga Toast. ...no, you don't need the syrup they give you with the Tonga Toast! Get there early or later ... it can be one busy place as the families finally get going and want to hit the Magic Kingdom.

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

  • Yacht Club Galley $$ -- breakfast, lunch and dinner. Da Guy's favorite (non-Character) breakfast buffet for sure.
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse $$$ -- The best "traditional" steakhouse on property

Disney's Beach Club Resort

  • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop $ -- best ice cream parlor ever, and just as they used to be

Disney's Wilderness Lodge

  • Artist Pointe $$$ --- unfortunately there can be a lot of kids here so your experience will vary, but the food and wine is all about the Pacific Northwest.

Everywhere Else

Downtown Disney Marketplace

  • Rainforest Cafe $$ -- The first one on property (the other is outside of the entrance to Disney's Animal Kingdom), and for Da Guy, this one is still da best. Go for the Rasta Pasta and have garlic breath the rest of the day!

Downtown Disney West Side

  • Wolfgang Puck's Cafe $$-$$$ Wolfgang Puck -- Da Guy loves this place. Sit in the bar and get something to eat, have some terrific sushi, eat in the more casual cafe, do some take out express, or in the evenings, the more formal place upstairs is open as well. It's a definite favorite with Da Guy for lunch.
