Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
Every Fall, Epcot is transformed and becomes home to the International Food & Wine Festival. Let's put it this way -- Da Guy adjusted the dates of his annual trek to Walt Disney World to ensure he's here for this event every year. A-W-E-S-O-M-E is the only word to describe it. Complimentary culinary programs, wine seminars, and "Eat to the Beat" concerts are presented every day throughout the Park. More than two dozen additional marketplaces from around the world are set up around World Showcase for the purchase of regional food, wine and beer -- ranging from $1.50 to $6.50. It makes for a terrific afternoon or evening eating and drinking your way around World Showcase.
A very diverse set of additional-fee activities and events are also available each year including Sweet Sundays (breakfast and celebrity pastry chef demonstration), Wine Schools, Exquisite Evenings and Signature Dinners (celebrity chefs cooking a 5-course meal with paired wines). The highlight for Da Guy however, is the "Party for the Senses" every Saturday evening from 6:30-9PM where an amazing "wander around" event takes place with more than 25 eminent chefs and 70 wines and beers to tantalize your taste buds, while Cirque du Soleil La Nouba acts perform around you.
