Disneyland Resort

It all started with the original Disneyland that Walt built back in 1955, but it's now a full-fledged resort in Anaheim, California. Two Parks -- Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, plus Downtown Disney and it's three hotels.

The Disneyland Hotel of course has been a classic for years, but you must also check out Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It's arts and crafts style, location, and stellar service is some of the best on the West Coast.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

  • Napa Rose $$$ -- some of, if not THE best, California-style cuisine on the West Coast with a wine list that does not stop, along with a large comfortable bar area. For a special occasion with parties not exceeding four, sit at the Chef's Counter for something a bit more casual, watch the action, and interact with the chefs. "The Vinter's Table" 4-course chef's tasting menu with matching wine flight is stellar and changes weekly. Reservations are a must.

Downtown Disney

  • Rainforest Cafe $$ -- all kind of casual food and drinks to please just about anybody. For Da Guy, it's all about the Rasta Pasta.
