It used to be Disneyland's parking lot when Da Guy was growing up, but today is the 2nd Disney park located in Anaheim, California. It got off to a slow start, but is picking up pace as Disney puts more of their special attactions in place over the next several years. Not a full-day park for most, but with a Park Hopper, it's certainly not to be missed.
Da Guy's Personal Don't Miss Attraction List
This list is pretty small at this point in time as Da Guy has not been here, but some of the sites and attractions he's been to in other places, so let's start there!
Soarin' -- the original, and now in Epcot as well. It's perhaps Da Guy's favorite, anywhere, any time! - Electrical Light Parade -- the original that started it all at Disneyland Park and has moved to the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Paris over time. It's still reincarnated on some special high volume magical nights, and you can't miss it!
- Toy Story Midway Mania -- super in every way for every friend and family member. A new Disney classic.
- Pixar Play Parade -- most days. It's high energy and a lot of fun. Check out some pictures in the Photo Album
-- the California Adventure version of the Florida classic at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The actual ride here is shorter and a little more to-the-point.- Hyperion Theatre -- if a show is playing here, do not miss it. High quality, Broadway style, included in your park admission.
- It's Tough to be a Bug -- cute, but scary for the little ones or if you have an affliction towards spiders!
- Turtle Talk with Crush -- the ambience is so much better at Epcot, but if you've not seen this technology or have little ones with you, it's not to be missed here in California
- Muppet-Vision 3D -- really good
...not on Da Guy's normal hit parade, but may be when he's playing tour guide with friends
- Grizzly River Run -- if you want to get REAL wet, this is the one
- Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue -- cute for the little ones, but with the exception of a scene or two, just not up to par with the original Fantasyland dark rides over at Disneyland Park

- Award Wieners $ -- when you need a hot dog fix
Golden State
- Pacific Wharf Cafe $ -- breakfast and soups/salads the rest of the day
- Taste Pilot's Grill $ -- Super bugers and chicken sandwiches, but the onion rings are to die for. Remember, you're on vacation!
