How He Does It
Da Guy has a fairly high quality HP Officejet that is capable of some pretty good photo-quality printing when the right inks and supplies are used. It works great for the occasional CD or DVD cover that looks like a piece of art, but he finds the benefits of printing the few high-quality images he wants to keep or give away via an online service -- in whatever format he desires, from small prints to posters to coffee mugs and mouse pads, far outweigh having to worry about dried-out ink and the significant expense of having a wide selection of supplies on-hand. Letting his fingers and broadband connection ship the digital image off, waiting a couple of days, and paying a few pennies extra for someone else to do the work and drop it in the mail, is the way this guy almost always does it these days. Perhaps he'll get into the print thing more in the future, but for now, here's the service Da Guy almost always uses:
