What you should expect to find is new and more contemporary content in a blog-like form, with most subjects already migrated and refreshed on this new place;  Lots of ways to find information of interest — the most recent article summaries are now on the home page, new tagged content, related posts, and of course keyword search accessible from every page;  Ways for you to directly comment and interact on many of Da Guy’s expose’s or rants; A simple way to be notified via RSS feed when new topics are added or updated; and new photo galleries which are linked real-time with the broader set of photos he’s now storing on Flickr.  As Da Guy first adds new photos to Flickr in the future, some will be made available here, but you’ll be able to see more extensive EXIF and geotag data, as well as comment on them over there as well.  For the technically inclined, more information about the new Bert’s Place can be found here.

For previous visitors, unfortunately any favorite bookmarks you have for specific pages at the old site will no longer function, and you’ll need to update them.  The nearly 800 photos found on the old Bert’s Place have already been archived to Flickr and are accessible there now, with the most popular sets now available in the new archive galleries here until  higher quality versions are made available one day.

All of the previous content on this site that were of interest to the majority of readers have been migrated and updated.  Some older articles in Music, Movies and Photography will be recreated and added in the future.  If you can’t find what you’re looking for around this new place, most of the content is being maintaing at the Old Bert’s Place for the next few months.
