The Stage
Broadway, also known as the Great White Way, the West End in London, and the touring companies around the globe. Nothing tops live performances, the dedication of the performers and production members, and that every show is unique, never to be seen again. This is where Da Guy lists some of his very favorite productions -- those that touched something special in him, be it an actor's performance, the sets, staging, lighting, the music, or the whole experience.
While nothing can really beat Broadway and the West End for legitimate theatre, they both get a run for their money with what is produced in Las Vegas, Nevada. No where else does someone build a $40 million theatre to house a new production of the Phantom, build a theatre and production around a massive indoor swimming pool, or invest more than $140 million to gut an old theatre in one of the casinos and build perhaps the most technically advanced theatre production of it's kind. All the top names do their acts or concerts here at one time or another. While the more permanent shows are scaled back to be 90 minutes in duration (so you can see two every night and get back to the casinos), the quality of the productions almost always equals and generally tops what you could ever find elsewhere. You must check out Da Guy's favorites in Vegas here.
Some of the artists in these productions also made it to Da Guy's top Music, Screen, or Stars lists. Don't miss his favorite Directors either! ...and since you're at Da Guy's Place, he won't let you forget the thousands of cast members all around the world on stage every day at Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort in California, Tokyo Disney Resort, or Disneyland Paris.
